The internet more than anything else is an archive for all knowledge, and the intersection of all human culture with no limitations when it comes to access. When it comes down to it there is no clear limitation to what the internet is able to accomplish at the moment, sure there have been serious societal repercussions when it comes down to mob mentality (such examples can be seen with the use of Cambridge Analytica). Though beyond negative repercussions, or morality in general, the internet is an archive. It is the eternal archive that will be there now and forever, past human existence and will outlive all that choose to influence it. To me, the internet is the finest design of human creation, which has given people around the world the ability to learn and have instruments that otherwise thought impossible even two decades ago. Due to our new generations such as Gen Z being exposed to this interconnected world there have definitely been an interesting perception when it comes to humor and overall ability to use the internet at a higher advanced level than any generation before. This Gen Z internet humor based on absurdism is what i'm using as inspiration for my website. I’m trying to adapt a sense of humor and internet culture into my net-art. Beyond current internet culture the theme i’m really interested to hown in on is the absurdist aspect.
